2.4 Phone Request
On unites 7 and 8, there are three conversations related to business.
On the dialogue from page 35, student A is asking student B to speak to Simon Green. A answers that Mr Green is not there, and offers the possibility to leave they a message. B says that they nees Mr Green to call them back, so A asks for B's name, phone number and company name.
On the dialogue from page 37, student B calls student A because they want to speak to Jenny Gold, who works in the company student A stated when they first answered the call. Student A tries to put the call through but Jenny Gold is unavailable at the moment because she's out of town, so A offers B to leave her a message.
On the dialogue from page 41, Student A greets a caller, student B, who is calling because they want to speak to Sam Raymond, the electrician. A says that Sam is worling at City Hospital, and asks what the problem is. B explains that there is a power cut in the factory they work in. A send them another electrician from the company to solve the problem, and tells them that he'll be there within half an hour.
