Hi! Today we did a speaking. We had to recreate a situation where one of us is Paul, who needs to go home from work inmediatly, and my classmate had to do my tasks. This is the speaking:   Paul: Hello, Marta. I have an emergency and I have to leave sooner.  I have some tasks left for today and I need you to finish them up for me,  if you don’t mind. Marta: No problem. Tell me. Paul: First of all, there’s a folder on my desktop with today’s date. Make sure you print all the documents in there and leave them on my assistant’s desk. I’m also waiting for an important call from Mr. Williams at half past twelve. Tell him I’m sorry but we’ll have to reschedule. Marta: To which day? Paul: My assistant will tell you, don’t worry. Hello! I've found a job advert for a Cabin Crew position, also known as flight attendant. Is the perks of being a flight attendant what make this a job I would love. It provides plenty of contact with people, which is great because I really like meeting people from different cultures. It also gives you the opportunity to travel a lot, and meeting new countries is something I'm passionate about. Some of the responsabilities flight attendants have are greeting passengers as they board and exit the plane, showing them their seats and serve them meals or supply them with in-flight entertaintment. One of the responsabilities I know I would love is to demonstrate the emergency equipment and safety procedures. On the other hand, I don't think I would like to deal with children and troubling passengers, but overall, it is a wonderful job and the persk really pays off the cons.
